With that being said, you should definitely get weights for your home gym if you want to maintain or build muscle. If you want to gain a lot of the benefits of having weights but without weight, you might want to get a pull up bar as they are also a great piece of equipment.

It helps to build and maintain muscle as well as being great for cardio. This makes it a great choice for a home gym. It also comes with multiple difficulties, so you can always push yourself to do better each time. A rowing machine is another machine, like the treadmill, where you can do other things at the same time such as listening to music or watching TV. Most rowing machines are slightly louder than a treadmill and require you to move more, so you might find watching TV more difficult, but it is definitely doable. However, a rowing machine, in general, is a great addition to your home gym.
